Primavera tribute to Boticelli

In the azure light of the infinite sky, where hues dance and merge like ocean waves, a creation took form. It was born from the inspiration of my soul, touched by the beauty of the world, the whispers of the past, and the mystical energy that art carries through time. In my studio bathed in light, the colors reveal themselves, vibrant and deep, weaving a sculpture of emotion and mystery.

I painted and sculpted my own interpretation of Botticelli’s Primavera on canvas—a contemporary, kinetic homage to this master of grace and myth. I wanted to offer a version that lives, that breathes, that speaks to today. This Primavera is not frozen in the past she moves, she transforms, she exists in every changing glance.

Depending on the viewer’s angle, the central figure’s face seems to shift. Her hair subtly changes color: on one side, deep blue; on the other, lavender, rose, and carmine. It’s as if she whispers a different secret with each step, inviting the viewer to explore, to feel, to dream.

My artistic approach is grounded in the illusion of movement, the vibration of color, and the transformation of perception. I sculpt light and matter on canvas to create three-dimensional optical works, at the crossroads of painting and sculpture. Each piece is an immersive experience, a moment suspended between reality and dream.

The colors I chose are not decorative—they are symbolic, each one carrying its own story and emotion:

• Lavender evokes gentle elegance, inner peace, and spiritual refinement.

• Blue embodies truth, serenity, and openness to the divine.

• Indigo represents deep wisdom, mystery, and inner vision.

• Pink speaks of love, tenderness, and raw emotion.

• Violet is the color of transformation, intuition, and the sacred.

• Turquoise blends the energy of blue and green—symbolizing balance, freedom, and fluidity.

• Azure blue is pure sky breath, an invitation to dream and contemplate.

• Carmine pulses with passion, intensity, and inner fire.

Silver glitter dances across the surface, catching and reflecting the light like stardust. And at the heart of it all, my silver signature—not just a name, but a seal, a trace of my soul, a glimmer that connects my inner world to yours. It represents my gratitude, and the bond I form with those who welcome my art into their lives.

Why Botticelli? Why Primavera?

Because Primavera is one of the greatest hymns to beauty, nature, and the sacred feminine. Botticelli reveals a world where the human, the divine, and the natural coexist in perfect harmony. It is a garden of symbols, a ballet of emotion, a celebration of rebirth—both literal and spiritual.

Botticelli is an endless source of inspiration. He paints strength with delicacy, mystery with clarity. His figures seem to emerge from dreams, yet they vibrate with truth. He moves me deeply because he understood that art doesn’t just represent—it reveals. It elevates. It heals.

When I paint inspired by him, I feel as though I am walking beside him through time, our hands separated by centuries but united by the same sacred fire of creation.
