Art always carries a touch of mystery. And today, I’d like to invite you into my studio to discover what lies behind a sculpture on canvas. Follow me step by step on this creative journey…

The Idea: When Emotion Takes Shape

Each artwork is born from a moment, an emotion, or a symbol I want to share. It might be the softness of a summer morning, the power of a meaningful encounter, the fragile beauty of a flower, or transformation embodied by butterflies.

I often jot down words, sketch images, and let inspiration guide me. At this stage, the piece is still just a diffuse energy in my mind… and already, it brings a smile to my face.

The Preparation: Canvas and Materials

To create a sculpture on canvas, I begin with a base that’s both solid and flexible—a carefully chosen stretched canvas. I also prepare my pigments (many are natural and handmade), glitters, textures, and tools.

I love arranging each element in a harmonious way in my studio. This moment feels like a small ceremony to welcome the creative act.

The First Lines: Bringing the Structure to Life

This is the most fascinating part for me: drawing the first lines, creating volume, making the reliefs emerge. Here, movement is essential. I sculpt the material, play with the light, test angles… and little by little, the canvas comes to life.

It’s a dance between my hands and the medium, between strength and delicacy.

Color and Light: Revealing the Soul of the Piece

Then come the colors—the ones that resonate precisely with this story. Every shade has meaning; every glitter has a role in the light. I paint, sculpt further, add metallic or iridescent touches to capture the eye and play with shadows.

This is when I lose track of time. When I finally look up, night has sometimes already fallen…

Finishing Touches: The Final Emotion

Once the piece is complete, I always take time to contemplate it in silence. I rotate it, observe it under different lights. And if it speaks to me, if it still moves me—then it’s ready to meet you.

Each artwork carries a part of me and a promise for you: to bring beauty, emotion, and light into your daily life.

Why share all this with you?

Because art isn’t just what you see on the wall. Art is also the passion, the hours, the doubts, and the joy behind it. When you choose one of my pieces, you’re embracing part of that story, of that humanity.

And I’m always deeply touched and grateful to know that my creations find a place in your life.
